I have a Surface 4 Pro with Windows When I click on Map network drive and click browse I only see "Network" and no further detail when I double click on it. The drives are connected and working and are in the same workgroup explordr my PC.

I think I've solved it - see my post replying to Kapil. I think Microsoft for reasons on;y known to itself seems to have stopped allowing nkt to see LAN disks unless you input the IP address first.
This example also show how to make your PC's visible in File Explorer network section. It looks like my problem is not the bug you mention but thanks to your link I've managed to sort it. In the past it used to list network drives by itself but now you seem to have to enter the IP address before it will show them. If only Microsoft would windows 10 map network drive not showing in explorer free a good manual to explain their products I think the average productivity and life span of PC users would increase substantially.
